Collection: About Robert Delaunay

It's the 100th anniversary of the return of the Olympics to Paris. Commemorate the event with artwork dating back almost exactly 100 years, painted sometime between 1924 and 1926.  Delaunay was a French artist of the School of Paris movement; who, with his wife Sonia Delaunay and others, co-founded the Orphism art movement, noted for its use of strong colors and geometric shapes. The whimsies pay homage to both the Olympics and France.
