Why we brought this out of the archives: Every Liberty puzzle begins with a unique cut pattern, but this one is unlike most others. Owner Chris Wirth wanted puzzlers to experience the falling rain reflected in the image, so he came up with the idea of giving nearly every piece a strong vertical orientation to echo the rain. Even the familiar “earlets” found in most of our puzzles were intentionally omitted, creating a unique Liberty puzzle experience.
